Prior to joining the HBJ, Naomi reported for Upstream. She graduated with degrees in journalism and political science from the University of Missouri.

Florian Martin, Growth Editor

Florian Martin joined the Houston Business Journal in 2021 to fill the newly created regional real estate reporter beat after nine years with Houston’s NPR station, where he covered business, local government and criminal justice among other topics. Florian has won numerous journalism awards over the years, including an Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting and a NAREE Bronze Award for best audio or video real estate report.
