Join us on Thursday, July 21, from 12-1:30 p.m., for our upcoming media mixer at iHeart Media Houston, home of Sunny 99.1, 94.5 The Buzz, 93.7 The Beat, News Radio 740 KTRH, SportsTalk 790, KPRC 950 and Houston’s BIN 1320. We will be joined by iHeartMedia Houston President Eddie Martiny, Regional VP of Programming Marc Sherman, Marketing Director Melissa Brezner, and Sunny 991 on-air personality Dana Tyson.

Eddie Martiny - President, iHeartMedia

Eddie oversees the Houston operations for seven (7) radio stations: KODA-FM, KTBZ-FM, KQBT-FM, KTRH-FM, KPRC-AM, KBME-AM, and KXYZ-AM. Prior to being promoted to President, Eddie was the Vice President of Sales of Clear Channel’s eight (8) radio stations. He led staff through the divestiture of KLOL and KHMX. Eddie graduated from Louisiana State University, BA LSU School of Journalism. He serves as Co-Chair of the St. Jude Research Hospital Golf Committee for the Houston market. Under Eddie’s great leadership, the company was named as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Houston Chronicle. He was presented the 2008 Performance Excellence Award by Clear Channel Communications and was presented the award by Ryan Seacrest. Eddie is married to his wife Liz and have three children.

Marc Sherman - Regional VP of Programming

Marc is responsible for all programming/branding aspects of the iHeartRadio Houston stations and serves as Program Director of KODA-FM Houston and KQXT-FM San Antonio. Marc graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Communications. He currently serves on the St. Laurence Church Pastoral Council, is a member of the Houston Choral Society and last fall was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. He and his wife June have four children, one grand-child and another one on the way.

Melissa Brezner - Marketing Director

Melissa grew up in Houston, Texas and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in Psychology and Communications. She has worked in local broadcast television and radio, or media relations for the last 31 years in Houston, 22 of them at iHeartMedia. Her first job out of college was a receptionist at a radio station and has since enjoyed the evolution and integration of social platforms, streaming, and digital technology, which have become such an important addition to broadcast radio over the last 30 years. In her spare time, Melissa loves to travel, especially to National and State Park to hike, bike and stand-up paddle. She is the proud mother of two kids in college and live in Houston with her husband and recue pup, Maxxo.

Dana Tyson - Air Personality, Sunny 99/KODA

Dana has been hosting the Sunny Morning Show for almost 32 years now! She loves being the ambassador for all things GOOD about Houston! She serves on two incredible boards that help make Houston great...The Star of Hope and the 100 Club! Dana has five kids and since they all grew up, she needed to have almost nine grandkids!
